R&R and innovation activity

Among the companies in Gorenjska, especially among small and medium-sized ones, there are needs and interest for making certain development moves (for instance towards more efficient use of materials, new technologies...) which would also improve the competitiveness of these companies on the market. Due to the fact that contacts with research institutions and R&D groups have not been established yet, only a few companies decide for continuous work in the fields of technology development and innovations. Therefore, we intend to set up a development and production centre of excellence in Gorenjska which would connect small and medium-sized companies with research institutions through concrete projects on development and technology. Thus, innovation-technological environment would be gradually established, and set-back distance in the field of investments in innovations and R&D in Gorenjska would be reduced.
