The background of our logo and slogan
The GORENJSKA - GOING UP logo emphasises the attributes of Gorenjska, such as: development, knowledge, future-oriented concepts, entrepreneurial spirit and innovation, wealth, openness to the world, energy, ambitiousness, responsibility...
The GOING UP slogan was coined on the basis of the following starting-points:
- Gorenjska is a region bringing together creative people who want to make most of their lives;
- Gorenjska is a region offering a high quality level of living, working, spending one's spare time as well as enjoying the beautiful landscape;
- Gorenjska represents the landspace, the greenness, progress, modernity, energy, optimism;
- Gorenjska is a region connecting unique natural environment with great tourism as well as economic potential.
UP stands for higher, mountains, Gorenjska, the future, success, optimism, movement. UP implies an intention, action, decision to change things.
Thus, the LOGO motivates the people of Gorenjska to realize their development goals. Above all, it invites all Slovenes and Europeans to visit Gorenjska, and it represents a logo which one can positively identify with.
