Marketing move "Gorenjska – Going up"
The regional development agency of Gorenjska with the assistance of the Council for regional marketing has introduced the marketing move “Gorenjska – Going up” which is aimed at:
- improving the recognition of the region as a region of opportunities for business, tourism, and good life quality.
- supporting the implementation of the goals set in the Regional development programme for Gorenjska 2007 – 2013, and
- supporting the municipalities and companies of Gorenjska in their development efforts.
The Regional development programme for Gorenjska 2007 - 2013 is a basic programme document on a regional level which outlines the advantages of the development region, and defines the priorities of the region. Apart from that, it includes financially evaluated programmes of promoting the development in the region. When implementing the development programme, it is necessary to motivate the inhabitants as well as companies, educational institutions, public institutions, and politicians. Moreover, it is also of significant importance to introduce our development goals to the Slovene and foreign public.
